Oil treatment
|
Oil treatment is very important among key processes associated with production, gathering and transportation of oil to customers – oil refinery or for export.
Quality of treated oil determines efficiency and stability of major pipeline transportation, price of import oil and quality of oil products. At the final stage of oilfield development water cut in oil may reach over 90%, and the crude transported to oil treatment facilities is characterized not only by diversity of physicochemical properties, but by their changing in time as well. Demulsifiers are used for solution of the above-mentioned problems.
Decleave™ demulsifiers supplied by Mirrico company have properties that allow to single them out among similar products:
- improvement of quality characteristics of oil and produced water:
First class marketable oil handled over from facilities has the highest price. At thermochemical and electrical desalting plants salts and water content in oil is reduced to normal level to reach 1 class oil. For solution of such problems demulsifiers are applied, which beside main application have a special application.
- special purpose demulsifiers:
effect of demulsifiers is aimed at solution of specific problems: fine desalting, oil emulsion breaking, removal of oil from reservoir water, oil treatment under low temperatures etc.
- droppers:
demulsifiers that provide maximum water removal in minimum time. The choice of such demulsifiers is first of all attributed to oil production rates increase.
- cleaners:
demulsifiers providing stable oil treatment and high breaking point.
Application:
Continuous injection into metering stations, wells, oil treatment facilities. Optimal dosage is determined on the basis of field tests on the site. For the best economical effect of demulsifier application it is recommended to conduct preliminary laboratory tests.
Efficiency control of Decleave demulsifiers: in accordance with RD 153-39.0-313-03, methodology of Mirrico company MLTM 07-006.
Logistics:
The product is delivered in plastic and metal barrels, IBC containers by auto and railway transport, in rail tanks, and in bulk in the customer’s containers.
