Mirrico robots as a high-tech replacement of manual labor

On November 11 experimental and industrial work on cleaning tanks from bottom sediments was completed successfully at the facilities of Gazpromneft-Khantos Limited Liability Company. The work was performed with the help of MARTin mobile autonomous robotic unit manufactured by Mirrico Group of Companies. This unit is a recent development designed for cleaning tanks and devices from deposits with subsequent processing and disposal of them.

Since October 20 three vertical stock tanks were cleaned by specialists of the Department of Environmental Protection of Modern Service Solutions Limited Liability Company of Mirrico Group of Companies, from which 775 m3 of bottom sediments were extracted. As a result of processing of the extracted sediment, the customer received 589 m3 of oil (which is 76% of the total volume) and 62 m3 of industrial water (8% of the total volume). The amount of cake (dry residue) transferred to the landfill for further recycling was 124 m3 (16% of the total volume). However, the income from sale of the oil extracted during the processing of deposits enabled the customer both to repay expenditures for cleaning of the tanks and to make additional profit of 8.1 million rubles (according to value of dollar and cost of oil as of November 11, 2014).
